Every Day Life Class + 92 Days of Summer

I signed up for my very first paid class & it starts tomorrow! I'm so excited, it is the Every Day Life Class by Jenn Hall.

When I came across her blog awhile ago & saw the cool journal that she makes, I fell in love. I've been wanting to make one, but have been in a slump. Hopefully the PAID class will motivate me & you will actually see some craftiness on my craft blog, lol.

How to Participate
At the beginning of each week (Monday) we will post an inspiration thread with some tips, tricks and a YMBD original sketch. You will be required to take one photo a day each week (7 photos/week). You may choose to use some of the tips and tricks we've suggested and the sketch, or not (that is up to you). Either way, you must take one photo a day each week, and create a layout with your 7 photos (this will result in 92 photos over the summer and 13 layouts).

You must upload your layouts to our "92 Days of Summer" Gallery, located (Deadline for submissions: September 30th, 2009).

You must keep track of your progress and keep your tracking post up to date.

May is National Photo Month

In 1987, the U.S. Congress started recognizing May as National Photo month. That is 31 days to unite together and enjoy photography!

Some things you can do this month ~

• If you aren't doing the picture a day for the entire year, try taking a photo a day for the month of May. It is really fun, you will enjoy it. It doesn't have to be just pics of your kids, get creative. Take a photo of your breakfast, your favorite hobby, the flowers, etc
• Get in front of the camera, have someone take YOUR photo
• Organize your photos, put them into albums/scrapbooks, etc
• Order the digital pictures that have been sitting in limbo in your camera and computer
• Upload your photos if you don't print them
• Visit about.com and see the photo a day for National Photo Month

Did you miss the Project 365 Kit from CK?

I do not get a chance to buy much Scrapbooking products anymore. A few days before the New Year, I was sitting around with nothing to do. Cami wouldn't get off Club Penguin, so I decided to read my January Ck. I saw the big ad for the Project 365 kit and really liked the format.

My first thought was I can do this with what I have. Then on New years, I decided to check it out. When I realized you got so much stuff including the binder for the price, I decided I wanted it. Of course it sold out immediately and I missed it.

So bummed! I barely ever buy myself stuff like that. Oh well, what can you do.
